Inspiration

A hopeless romantic
Hidden beneath
an armour of steel

But what is the use
the armour of steel
when the heart ceases to tick

for a facade
is all there is
is all there will be

and yet which is better?
to be vulnerable?
to hide no more?

to be hopeless?
without the steel
to let the truth flow..

or to appear to the world
brazen and strong
with your sturdy stallion

with a thousand galleons
at your beck and call
willing to take your fall..

but yet at the end
there is no defence
for the hopeless romantic
beneath the armour of steel..
