Inspiration

This poem is featured prominently in my user profile.
Though not written by me, i find the words to flow very well….and the ideas to be very strong….somehow or other i always see myself as the protagonist…uttering these very words to someone else but at a time when it is too late……i guess i’ll be a monk then :p

I know I should have told you,
Made you understand,
Just how much i loved you,
And caught you by the hand,
I should have made you listen,
to every tear racked word,
but those that needed to be said,
were neither mouthed nor heard
Most i kept inside of me
and others came out wrong
I’m sorry now my darling
So sorry that you’ve gone
I thought i’d send this to you
words written from the heart
in hope that you will read them
and regret that we’re apart
Maybe then you’ll know me
and want to get in touch
for though we’ve lost each other
